Deeper Than Rap
I would be the first to admit that I wasn’t a fan of Rick Ross after it came out he was a Corrections Officer. After hearing Valley of Death on “Deeper Than Rap”, I had to go and pick up the album.
Valley of Death he said he has two kids and for them he would get two gigs. Being a father myself I had to respect that because I have a BA and doing a job that’s not paying what I should be getting paid. I’ll do whatever to feed my baby girl and put clothes on her back. So young people get a job is the word this evening, not selling dope or being a clown.
Deeper Than Rap has me feeling like I know a little bit more about Rick Ross than him being from Miami. Yacht Club has the reggae field to it, Usual Suspects featuring Nas, is rocking. The album makes me feel like Rick Ross is at the top of his game and this album shows that he is going to be in this rap game for awhile. The album has 14 tracks and I like all 14 and would give the album 5 stars on production and 4 for the total album because I like 16 to 18 tracks on my albums.
I think the whole Rick Ross/50 Cent beef was the same as how 50 Cent dissing Ja Rule, talk down on him, and then stole his style. Ross is name calling a lot in the album like “Janet was in Control so the Hoe Left”?
Ross Did his thang on this album and 50 is going to have all-star production on his album, but he better come with that Massacre flow and hunger or he is going to lose in sells again. So my readers check out Valley of Death off Rick Ross new album Deeper Than Rap and tell me what you think. This is a Robb $trick GO BUY AND GET RITE ALBUM.
